ANODIZED ALUMINUM

The model 5500/5505 Pancake probe is designed to detect contamination. It uses a standard 2" dia pancake GM tube as the detector. The tube is held firmly in place by three set screws assuring good electrical contact and strong retainment. The housing is made of anodized aluminum and is as compact and light as possible. The grip is made of smooth acrylic and feels warm to the touch. Access to the GM tube is through the four top screws. Model 5505 has a fine mesh screen covering the window.

Useful Range: Background to 900 mR/h
Protective screen: Model 5500 4x4 mesh 77% open; Model 5505 CuBe ridged fine mesh screen 78% open.
Input connector: BNC standard. Also available with MHV, C and SHV.
